2020 in Review

Wow, what a year. When everything locked down in March, I certainly didn't imagine I'd stay busy non-stop for the rest of the year. So many milestones and blessings to be grateful for even in the midst of the struggles and challenges of this crazy year. Here are some highlights:

January:

March:

April:

May:

  • Best Actress Award for Pilgrim -- Quarantine Film Festival

June:

July:

  • Best Supporting Actress for Quicksand (Lamplighter Theatre audio drama) -- Seneca Awards

August:

  • Christian Worldview Film Festival - speaker on the actors' panel

  • Best Actress Award for The Fortune of Robert Lowe -- Great Lakes Christian Film Festival

September:

October:

  • Sonic-Con Audio Drama Conference

November:

December:

I also recorded myself reading three old books (two adventure books and a Roy Rogers Christmas book) as part of a new Western Tales story time series shared on Facebook and Youtube.

Another huge part of this year was my return to writing. I started by writing and making my own short film, Pilgrim, which won 6 awards at the Quarantine Film Festival. I co-wrote and co-produced (and starred in) the feature film, Mount Hideaway: Heartache and Homecoming. I also finished writing the first two episodes of my western series, Sunset Trail, and have outlined eight more!

I'm so thankful for God's continued blessings and I can't wait to see what 2021 holds!
